Welcome to Dr. D's Science Circus. By booking a program or using our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Bookings

All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed and you receive a confirmation email. Parents or legal guardians must provide accurate contact and emergency information when making a booking.

 

2. Eligibility

Our school holiday programs are designed for children aged 6–12 years unless otherwise stated. Children should be able to participate safely in a group environment and follow reasonable instructions from staff.

3. Payments

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD). Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified. Prices may change without notice but will not affect confirmed bookings.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

By the Parent or Guardian:

• Cancellations made more than 14 days before the program start date will receive a full refund, less any non-refundable booking and payment processing fees.

• Cancellations made between 7 and 14 days before the program start date will receive a 50% refund.

• Cancellations made less than 7 days before the program start date are generally not refundable.

• If your child is unable to attend due to illness, please contact us. Refunds or credits may be considered at our discretion.

By Dr. D's Science Circus:

If we cancel a session due to insufficient enrolments, severe weather, venue issues or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, participants will receive either:

• a full refund; or

• the option to transfer to another available session.

5. Attendance

​

• Parents or authorised guardians must sign children in and out where required.

• Children must be collected on time.

• We reserve the right to charge a reasonable late collection fee where applicable.

6. Health and Medical Information

​

Parents or guardians must inform us of:

​

• allergies;

• medical conditions;

• medications;

• behavioural or learning needs; and

• any other information necessary to ensure their child's safety.

By enrolling your child, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and complete.

 

7. Safety

​

Safety is our highest priority. Our activities are designed to be age-appropriate and supervised by trained staff.

​

Participants are expected to:

​

• follow staff instructions;

• behave respectfully towards others;

• use equipment safely; and

• participate in activities responsibly.

We reserve the right to remove a participant whose behaviour poses a safety risk to themselves or others. In such cases, refunds may not be provided.

8. Personal Belongings

​

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings. Dr. D's Science Circus is not liable for lost, stolen or damaged items.

9. Food

​

Parents are responsible for providing:

• lunch;

• snacks (if desired); and

• any required medications.

​

Fresh drinking water will be available throughout the day.

​

10. Photography and Media

​

From time to time, photographs or videos may be taken during activities for promotional purposes.

Parents or guardians may opt out by notifying us in writing before the program begins. We will respect all reasonable requests not to photograph a child.

11. Website Use

​

All website content, including text, graphics, logos, photographs and educational materials, is the property of Dr. D's Science Circus unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce or distribute our content without written permission.

12. Privacy

​

Any personal information collected during bookings will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and used only for purposes related to providing our services and complying with legal obligations.

13. Limitation of Liability

​

While reasonable care is taken to provide a safe environment, participation in hands-on science activities involves inherent risks.

​

To the extent permitted by Australian law, Dr. D's Science Circus excludes liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from participation in our programs or use of this website.

​

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website and will apply from the date it is published.
